An Open Letter to Strong Women

Hello! My name is john and thank you for taking a moment to consider my views as a sincere and secure submissive male. I’m new to Medium.com but I’ve been writing on the topic of women leading men for a number of years — and it is my passion; a literary expression of my enthusiasm, outlook and advocacy for female-centric and led relationships. My writing is primarily for the benefit, insight and edification of smart, strong, unconventionally-minded women who are open to exploring and celebrating feminine leadership — in all its varied and female-positive iterations — as either sexual kink or ideally, a female-first lifestyle. Regardless of your degree of interest in this topic, please believe me when I say bountiful benefits await those smart, strong, remarkable women who choose to prioritize their needs and lead their romantic relationships with adoring and amazing submissive men.

It is an unfortunate truth that women leading men — in many facets of society — is neither universally accepted or celebrated. Women are neither socialized or supported to assert themselves in their romantic relationships with men. Patriarchal-oriented “good girl conditioning” too often serves to convince women that femininity and desirability equates to submission to men. And even amongst the most progressive women I’ve interacted with, establishing “equality” with a male partner is often as far as they are willing to go with regard to a relationship/gender power balance. It should come as no surprise to anyone reading this that I believe relationships work best — for some; though not all couples — when they’re intentionally and transparently woman-centric and led. But pursuing a female-first relationship dynamic — for women — often means exploring beyond one’s comfort zone; challenging social taboos and acting independently and often counter to the counsel of girlfriends, sisters, mothers and others whom women so often turn to for advice. Whatever path you choose — no matter how you explore your power and sexuality — my message is earnest and sincere: be bold, be different, but most of all, be true to yourself — not the person others think you should be!
